Building for the Future with PJD Group

PJD has focused on delivering A-rated, energy-efficient homes, gaining extensive experience and expertise along the way. We believe that energy efficiency is the future of homebuilding, and it has become a core principle in everything we do. As part of this commitment, every PJD home now comes with an A-rated Building Energy Rating (BER) as standard.

We’re continually exploring innovative technologies and sustainable building methods to further enhance energy performance across our developments.

Beyond energy efficiency, every PJD home benefits from the craftsmanship and pride of a skilled workforce, refined through generations. Attention to detail, quality materials, and high standards are evident in every home we build — creating welcoming, enduring places where people are proud to live.

If you’re searching for a new home — or know someone who is — we invite you to explore our current developments, talk to our previous buyers, and experience the PJD difference for yourself.

We’re also proud to be registered and approved under the Help to Buy scheme, supporting first-time buyers in securing their new energy-efficient home.

Affordable Options – Help to Buy Scheme

First-time buyers of newly built homes in Ireland may be eligible for the Help to Buy scheme, offering a tax rebate of up to €30,000. The rebate is based on the amount of income tax paid over the previous four years and is capped at 10% of the property’s value, up to a maximum purchase price of €500,000. The rebate is paid at the deposit stage, after contracts are signed.

To qualify, buyers must take out a mortgage of at least 70% of the property’s value.

Bridging the Gap – First Home Scheme

The First Home Scheme (FHS) is a shared equity scheme backed by the Government of Ireland and participating lenders. It’s designed to help first-time buyers and other eligible purchasers bridge the gap between their mortgage and deposit, and the price or build cost of a new home — within set regional price ceilings.

Through the scheme, buyers receive funding in exchange for the FHS taking a percentage ownership (equity share) in the property. This equity share remains in place until the homeowner chooses to repay the scheme’s contribution, sell the property, or redeem the mortgage.
